🌿Herbs harvested in the morning after the morning dew has evaporated will contain higher concentrations of compounds/oils that give them their aroma and flavor. Pick your herbs before the heat to prevent wilting. Hang dry in a well ventilated area away from light and sunlight. 🌿High moisture herbs such as basil, mint, parsley, cilantro, and tarragon are susceptible to mold and best if dried quickly especially if humidity is high. These 🌿🌿 can be dried in a food dehydrator. 🌿Store dried herbs in a container with a tight fitting lid in the dark. Exposure to light may alter their color, aroma, and beneficial constituents. ✳️Don’t crush the leaves till you’re ready to use them to retain the oil compounds. Hope you find this helpful!☺️ Happy gardening!🌿💚 #shorts #herbgardening #herbgarden #growfood #gardeningtips #vegetablegardening
